The following information was provided by DJs and entertainers who have recently worked at Chipping Sodbury Town Hall:

The Town Hall is located in the beautiful medieval market town of Chipping Sodbury and parts of the building date back to the 1400s. A wide variety of events can be held at The Town Hall in the multi-purpose building which has two very different function spaces. The hall also holds a licence for the Solemnisations of Marriages and Civil Partnerships on the premises.

Downstairs is the main hall (auditorium) which is ideal for larger parties, weddings, dinner dances or corporate events. With a large stage and modern amplification and lighting the hall is also ideal for theatre/stage productions. This is a very large space which has a seating capacity of 250 for meetings and stage shows and 180 people banquet style. Outside the main hall is a large foyer and lounge with a bar.

Upstairs at the Town Hall (fully accessible via a lift) is The Charter Suite which has its own bar. This is a lovely room, ideal for smaller scale events and the capacity is 70 people seated.

All catering at the Town Hall is provided by a third party who have menu styles suitable for all occasions and budgets. Parking at the Town Hall can be tricky as it is located in the main thoroughfare of Chipping Sodbury which is a very busy street. There is free parking at the front on the street and a small free car park at the rear of the hall for about 20 cars. However, a couple of minutes' walk away is a large free car park on Wickwar Road.
