The globe is a truly original and unique private event space and party hire venue! We are perfect for birthdays, boutique wedding recpetion parties, Summer BBQs, Christenings, wakes and private film screenings. We pride ourselves on our flexibility and independence. When booking your event at the globe you can expect genuinely warm service with professional and efficient event management.

We have 4 different spaces that are available for private hire for your function. They may be booked independently, in combination or all together for exclusive parties.

Our largest space, overlooked by the upper gallery and perfect for larger occasions. It contains the original pulpit from the Methodist Chapel The Globe once was. It has its own stage perfect for live music which sits upon an original wooden floor flooded with natural light from the tall authentic windows.

Good To Know

There is a sound limiting device fitted to this venue. Usually installed as a licence condition, these devices can have an adverse effect on live or recorded musical entertainers by shutting down electrical power in the event of too much noise, or by forcing the entertainers to play through a controlled PA system. The "cut off" type limiters have been known to be triggered by audience cheers and clapping. This can significantly impact your enjoyment.
