Recently re-ordered church nave which now provides an affordable meeting space option in the peaceful village of Sutton, Cambridgeshire.
An ideal location for meetings, community events and family gatherings. Disabled access and easy parking. Catering available.
Sutton church was built around 1125 as a chapel of ease to the mother church at Castor and consisted of just a nave and chancel more or less as we see them today. In those days the nave was for general village use such as markets and socials.
In May 2011 the church nave was restored to general community use with new heating, lighting, kitchen, toilets and a fine oak gallery. The village of Sutton now has a fine building suitable for today's community needs.
