The following information was provided by DJs and entertainers who have recently worked at Ampthill & District Community Rugby Club (Dillingham Pk):
A really nice large function room with apex ceiling and exposed beams. Club members can book the room at a good discount, however the hire charge is still very reasonable for non-members.
One side of the room is windows overlooking the rugby ground and then open countryside and the room has a staffed bar.
The only drawbacks are the 11:30pm music licence and the fact that the toilets are at ground floor level. Otherwise this is a great option for a low-cost private function or even a budget wedding venue.
